Recruitment Workshop 2018

Lexington, KY  -  June 15-17, 2018

Every summer, Phi Gams from across North America have the chance to visit their International Headquarters and to hone their recruitment skills. This is a great opportunity for any brother, not just officers or members of the recruitment committee.

Where: University of Kentucky Campus, Lexington KY.

When: Friday, June 15 - Sunday, June 17

The workshop will review key recruitment topics such as:

  • Tabling and conversation skills
  • Building and maintaining a prospect list
  • Promoting your chapter on campus
  • Expanding your chapter's network
  • Selecting the right men for your chapter/colony
  • Motivating your brothers
  • Social Excellence

The workshop will begin Friday afternoon with an introduction to the basics of dynamic recruitment. It will continue through Sunday morning with sessions on the topics listed above and more.

Most importantly, you will leave this workshop with real tools to take back to your chapter, enabling you to train your brothers to recruit the best men on campus.

Registration:

The registration fee is $150 per brother registered. This fee covers snacks, Friday's dinner, Friday's evening activity, Saturday's breakfast and lunch, two nights lodging, Sunday breakfast as well as all training materials for the workshop. These costs will be billed to each chapter after the event based on registrations, NOT attendance. If someone from your chapter registers and does not show, your chapter will still be billed for them. Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from Lexington.

International Headquarters will set aside scholarship money to cover the registration fee on a case-by-case basis approved by the Director of Growth.

Housing for participants will be reserved by our headquarters staff, so attendees do not need to reserve their own housing for Friday or Saturday night. Parking passes will be provided.

The deadline to register is June 1, 2018.
