The Leadership Institute 2023
The Leadership Institute is a premier leadership experience that will empower brothers to work on real issues and challenges facing their chapters. Attendees of the Institute will go home with a plan to tackle tough chapter issues that are incongruent with the values and Ritual of Phi Gamma Delta and an understanding of their own personal style of leadership and personal values. Attendees of the Institute will complete a plan to tackle tough chapter issues and an understanding of their own personal style of leadership and personal values. Brothers that attend The Leadership Institute will be able to:
- Articulate their own definition and personal style of leadership.
- Define what a “personal value” means and identify their own personal values.
- Create a realistic action plan in consultation with other brothers and facilitators for guiding themselves and their chapters.
One member from each chapter/provisional chapter is highly encouraged to attend. Up to two brothers from the same chapter/provisional chapter will be accepted to attend though this number may increase based upon total registration. The registration deadline is April 10, 2023.

COVID-19 Precautions
Phi Gamma Delta is taking all reasonable steps necessary to host a safe, in-person Leadership Institute. With this in mind, we encourage all attendees to be vaccinated, and we strongly encourage all attendees to be tested prior to attending (regardless of vaccination status).
Masks will be optional at The Leadership Institute. If an attendee or speaker prefers to wear a mask, we ask all attendees to be respectful of that decision. The requirement to wear a mask may change based on COVID-19 conditions at the time of the event.
Any attendee who tests positive for COVID-19, or feels sick prior to departing for the Institute, should email the Director of Undergraduate Member Experience. Attendees who experience COVID-19 symptoms or test positive once onsite must immediately isolate themselves from other attendees and report their symptoms to a member of the Fraternity staff so precautionary protocols may be enacted.
The below video captures brothers' responses to questions asked about their experience at the 2017 Leadership Institute. 140 undergraduate brothers attended two sessions.
