
Persistence Week: Celebrating Our Seniors
This year, the Phi Gamma Delta Educational Foundation and Fraternity are hosting Persistence Week: Celebrating Our Seniors, from April 26 - 29. Persistence Week is a week-long celebration leading up to our 36-hour Giving Day 2021, beginning on April 30 at 12:00 am ET. Each day of the week, we will highlight different themes to showcase Phi Gamma Delta’s impacts and reach.
Persitence Week Schedule of Events
Monday, April 26: #PGDpersistence Day
Showcase stories about the ways our brothers have persisted throughout their lives.
Tuesday, April 27: Proud to Be a Fiji Day
Show your love for Phi Gamma Delta by wearing and/or displaying your FIJI gear.
Wednesday, April 28: Not for College Days Alone Day
Learn more about maintaining relationships, what graduate brotherhood looks like, and utilizing the FIJI network.
Thursday, April 29: Senior Celebration Day
A day dedicated to recognizing and paying homage to our undergraduate brother’s milestone accomplishment – Graduation.
Friday, April 30 - Saturday, May 1: Giving Day 2021

How to Participate
- If you are a graduating senior, complete this Google Form to enter the Fraternity’s Graduating Senior Raffle. The deadline for submissions is April 30 at 5:00 pm ET. Winners will be announced during the Senior Spotlight Hour of Giving Day. Prizes include a FIJI Recognition Ring and gift cards to UberEats or DoorDash. For a second entry into the raffle, complete this Graduating Senior Survey.
- Join the Fraternity's LinkedIn Group to connect professionally with more than 14,000 brothers. This will allow our brothers to make posts about position openings, resumes, looking for work, and seeking connections with brothers in your industry.
- Follow the Fraternity on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter during Persistence Week as we unveil videos, farewell messages and useful resources.
- Tag the Fraternity social media accounts in your chapter's senior spotlights to be highlighted throughout the week. Make sure to include #PGDpersistence in your posts.
- If your chapter has not already done so, host a virtual senior sendoff where brothers can share memories and experiences with each other. Feel free to invite graduate brothers to attend.
- Follow the Phi Gamma Delta Archives on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter as they will also share content that corresponds with the week's events.
