Executive Director / CEO
The Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta

On July 1, 2019, Executive Director Bill Martin (Mississippi State 1975) will retire from his position with the Fraternity after 29 years of outstanding service to Phi Gamma Delta. Accordingly, the Archons have initiated a search for his replacement and established a search committee comprising brothers from the Archons, Educational Foundation, Section Chiefs, Purple Legionnaires and Undergraduates. Below is information related to the search process, a full job description and the timing of submittals for those interested candidates.

Interested brothers can submit a letter of interest and resume to the Fraternity at the following email address: EDapplication@phigam.org.  Candidate information will be held in the strictest confidence and forwarded directly to the search committee for review and further action. The search committee will accept resumes and application material from July 1 through July 31, 2018. There is no application form to fill out. Please attach your documents to the email.

If you have someone in mind that you would like the search committee to reach out to confidentially, you can send an email to the same email address and note the candidate’s name and contact information.

The search committee has formalized a plan and time frame for conducting the search process. Generally, the committee will be accepting resumes and applications as mentioned above and will take the months of August and September to review applicant material as well as conduct conference call screens with selected candidates.

A short list of candidates will be referred on to the Archons for in-person interviews with the full board later in the fall, with the expectation that a successor will be finalized and in place beginning January 1, 2019. This will allow for a sufficient transition period during Bill’s final six months.
