Best Uses for Your Chapter's Social Media: Instagram
Sidebar Image

Instagram isn't just a social media platform, it's a recruiting tool. Make sure you are easy to find, Phi Gamma Delta and your university's name should be somewhere on the profile. Your content should tell PNMs about your brotherhood and what sets FIJI apart from other fraternities on campus. Philanthropy event? Post it. New members? Post it. Social event? Post it. Brotherhood retreat? Post it. Sporting event? Post it. Take high-quality pictures, promote the Fraternity's values, and celebrate your brothers' achievements.

Don't forget to boost engagement by tagging the people and organizations in your photo, utilize hashtags, and tag @phigamhq to be featured on our account.

Communications Facebook Group

As always, remember to join the Communications Facebook Group. The files are extremely helpful, especially the Fraternity Language PDF. Since you don't have someone to check every post, email or mailing you send out, Fraternity Language will make sure you know when to capitalize "fraternity," the difference between FIJI and Fiji, and how to properly format the name of a brother when they are mentioned in an article. Join the group and check out all the helpful resources.
