List of Fiji Academies

The Fiji Academy began in 1949 as a leadership program focused on chapter officers. For many years the event was biennial, alternating summers with the Ekklesia, our legislative convention. The site was always a university campus. Below is a group picure from the first Academy at Denison University.

In the mid 1990s, the Fraternity experimented with a more intimate and team-based event by holding several smaller summer sessions.

In 2003, Academy moved to the winter, an annual schedule, and new type of location: a convention hotel. The team format gave way to a renewed focus on chapter officer training.
