174th Ekklesia - Washington, DC
Phi Gamma Delta's biennial convention, the Ekklesia, is held in the summer of even-numbered years. In this governing body, each undergraduate chapter has up to three voting delegates, and each graduate chapter may have one voting delegate. The primary business of the Ekklesia is to elect new Archons (board of directors), approve the budget for the ensuing biennium and amend the Bylaws and Constitution. Outside of the business conducted by the Ekklesia, there are educational programs and social activities to allow brothers to reconnect with old friends and make new ones.
Phi Gamma Delta's 174th Ekklesia will be held August 11-14, 2022 in Washington, DC. Attendee details and registration information is below.
Registration Fees & Deadlines
The early bird Undergraduate Registration fee is $450/member and includes all Ekklesia events. Each undergraduate chapter will be invoiced a total of $1,350 for 3 members to attend. Additional delegates are encouraged to attend and will be invoiced after the Ekklesia.
The deadline to register is July 1. If delegates register after July 1, the registration fee will increase to $500/member, and the chapter will be invoiced for the additional $150 fees.

Additional Information & Details
COVID-19 Precautions
Phi Gamma Delta is taking all reasonable steps necessary to host a safe, in-person Ekklesia. With this in mind, we are encouraging all attendees to be vaccinated, and we strongly encourage all attendees to be tested prior to attendance (regardless of vaccination status).
Based on current COVID-19 conditions, masks will be optional for Ekklesia. If an attendee or facilitator prefers to wear a mask, we ask all attendees to be respectful of that decision. The requirement to wear a mask may change based on COVID-19 conditions at the time of the event.
Any attendee who feels sick or tests positive for COVID-19 before their Ekklesia departure should plan to stay home and notify the Assistant Executive Director Todd Rotgers.
Attendees who experience COVID-19 symptoms or test positive onsite must immediately isolate themselves from other attendees. Please report these symptoms to a Fraternity staff member so that precautionary protocols may be enacted.
Phi Gamma Delta will monitor all local and CDC guidance regarding COVID-19, and we will adjust our recommendations and requirements accordingly. This may mean changes to the policy and request made above as we get closer to Ekklesia.
Ekklesia Events
We are seeking graduate and undergraduate brothers interested in participating in the Ekklesia Fiji Chorus. Participation would involve two short rehearsals and a performance at the Closing Ekklesia Banquet on Saturday, August 13. All brothers interested should contact Taren Robin.
