Undergraduate Chapter Awards
Baker Cup
The Baker Cup is awarded to the undergraduate chapter which most effectively focuses attention upon religious, ethical and social service activities in its daily conduct.

Coon Plaque
The Coon Plaque is awarded to the undergraduate chapter that has produced the best chapter publication for the preceding academic year.

Brightman Trophy
The Brightman Trophy is presented to the undergraduate chapter which best demonstrates that "Phi Gamma Delta is Not for College Days Alone" by maintaining and improving relations between the chapter and graduate brothers.

Jordan Bowl
The Jordan Bowl is awarded to the undergraduate chapter which is judged to have achieved the highest comparative scholarship among the undergraduate chapters for the preceding academic year.

Cheney Cup
The Cheney Cup is awarded to the undergraduate chapter which demonstrates the greatest all-around efficiency in scholarship, fraternity relationships and general collegiate activities.

Owen Cup
The Owen Cup is awarded to the undergraduate chapter which has shown the greatest improvement in scholarship over the preceding academic year.

Condon Cup
The Condon Cup is awarded to the undergraduate chapter which has shown the greatest improvement over the past academic year in the areas of scholarship, extracurricular activities and fraternity relationships.

Zerman Trophy
The Zerman Trophy is awarded to the undergraduate chapter which excels in promoting the involvement of brothers in student government, the campus newspaper, and extracurricular activities.

Applications for the 2022 Calendar Year
The Fraternity encourages all chapters to submit an Annual Awards Application every year. The application for the 2022 calendar year is now open, and they are due Monday, April 3, 2023, at 8:00 am ET (5:00 am PT). Click the link below to apply.
Undergraduate Chapter Applications
To be eligible to receive undergraduate chapter awards, the chapter must: 1) Be 'current' in its accounts receivables with the International Fraternity or adhering to an agreed upon payment plan at the time of application. 2) May not be under disciplinary action by the Fraternity, including under a Graduate Trusteeship imposed by Third-Degree Penalty or Fifth-Degree Penalty: Probation during the majority of the calendar year being evaluated, and at the time of application.
Individual Awards
Coulter Cup
The Coulter Cup is awarded to the graduate brother who has contributed the most to an undergraduate chapter through service in a capacity other than as a Purple Legionnaire, Volunteer Leader or General Officer.

Haynes Award
The Haynes Award is presented to the most effective Section Leader.
|
Crowder Cup
The Crowder Cup is awarded to the faculty advisor determined to be the most outstanding in the Fraternity based on personality, leadership, rapport with the chapter and assistance to the chapter in its relationship with faculty members and the host institution, as well as encouraging the undergraduate members to realize their full academic potential.

Wilkinson Award
The Wilkinson Award is presented to Phi Gamma Delta's most outstanding senior.
|
Durrance Award
The Durrance Award is presented to the graduate brother who is judged to be the most outstanding Purple Legionnaire (chapter advisor) in the Fraternity, "judged on the basis of personality, leadership, rapport with chapter and fraternity service."

Graduate Chapter Awards
Brightman Awards:
The Brightman Awards go to the most outstanding graduate chapters. Two awards are given each year: one for graduate chapters with over 75 members and one for graduate chapters with under 75 members.
Application for the 2022 Calendar Year
The Fraternity encourages all graduate chapters to submit an Annual Awards application. Applications are due by April 3, 2023 at 11:59 pm ET. The deadline was extended to May 15, at 11:59 pm ET.

Annual Award winners are announced each year in August/September, and they are published in the fall issue of The Phi Gamma Delta magazine (along with the Distinguished Fiji Award winners).

Courageous Leader Award
The Courageous Leader Award was established in 2019 and was first awarded at the 2020 Academy. The award is given to individuals who courageous live Phi Gamma Delta's values. All graduate and undergraduate brothers, new members and friends of Phi Gamma Delta are eligible. For more information, visit the Courageous Leader Award page.
Nominations for the Courageous Leader Award
Courageous Leader Award nominations are accepted year-round and awarded each January at the Academy. Nominate someone by October 31 to be considered.

William A. Martin III Distinguished Fiji Award
The Archons established the Distinguished Fiji Award (DFA) in 1965. Their policy states, "The Distinguished Fiji Award will be presented annually to no more than six graduate brothers who shall be deserving of recognition for their faithful and unselfish service to Phi Gamma Delta or their special contribution to mankind and society at large." The award was renamed the William A. Martin III Distinguished Fiji Award in 2019, upon Bill's retirement. DFA Nominations
