Service iconWe Encourage Service

Service is one of Phi Gamma Delta’s foundational values, and each member participates in meaningful civic engagement and philanthropic work. Because of this, the Fraternity asks chapters to participate in Ability, Duty & Opportunity Menu Experiences as a part of Built to Lead.

In 2004, the Fraternity first began a partnership with The Red Cross. Since then, several chapters have developed strong relationships with local Red Cross chapters and have successfully executed a variety of projects. Get in touch with your local chapter of the Red Cross to organize a project today.

United Service Organizations (USO)

Since 1941, the USO has connected America’s service members back to the things they have fought to defend: their family, home and country. Established during World War II by national leaders who understood that maintaining high morale in a fighting force is essential to a nation’s military success, the USO continues to be a vital contributor to our military’s strength and effectiveness. A nonprofit, congressionally chartered, private organization, the USO relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations and corporations to support its activities.

Phi Gamma Delta has formed a partnership with the USO giving chapters the opportunity to support its efforts through philanthropic events as well as service opportunities at nearby centers. The USO has prepared a ready-made Toolkit to assist chapters executing events.

Contact the Senior Director of Education with any questions regarding philanthropy and service.
