Chapter Presidents Conclave 2022

The Fraternity must make serious considerations at the 2022 Ekklesia, and we need your participation in a special meeting of Chapter Presidents on June 18, 2022, in Dallas, Texas, to discuss, debate and determine the future of Phi Gamma Delta.

The Archons will propose amendments to Fraternity Law to the 2022 Ekklesia to meet our obligations to our insurer, regarding new member recruitment and education, and set Phi Gamma Delta on a path for a bright future. Due to the significance of these decisions, the Fraternity is hosting a Chapter Presidents Conclave on Saturday, June 18, 2022, in Dallas, Texas. During this meeting, you will: 1) learn about these proposals well before the 174th Ekklesia; 2) discuss the options and opportunities available for chapters; and 3) provide your input about the Fraternity's path forward.

Plan to travel to Dallas on Friday, June 17, and return on Sunday, June 19. The International Fraternity will cover the cost of travel to Dallas, hotel accommodations and meals for the Conclave. The Fraternity highly recommends any attendee more than 300 miles from Dallas, Texas to fly to the event. If you are flying, we will book your airfare for you.

As Chapter President, your attendance is important and should be a priority. However, if the Chapter President has a significant conflict and will be unable to attend, the chapter may identify another elected officer of the chapter to attend in your place. Please note that only one representative per chapter is permitted and participation is limited to undergraduate officers.

The deadline to register is Friday, May 13.

COVID-19 Precautions

 Vaccines & COVID Tests

Phi Gamma Delta is taking all reasonable steps necessary to host a safe, in-person Chapter Presidents Conclave. With this in mind, we encourage all attendees to be vaccinated, and we strongly encourage all attendees to be tested prior to attendance (regardless of vaccination status).

 Masks

Based on current COVID-19 conditions, masks will be optional at the Chapter Presidents Conclave. If an attendee prefers to wear a mask, we ask all attendees to be respectful of that decision. (Note: The requirement to wear a mask may change based on COVID-19 conditions at the time of the event.)

If You Are Not Feeling Well Prior to (or During) the Chapter Presidents Conclave

Any attendee who feels sick or tests positive for COVID-19 before their departure should plan to stay home and notify Todd Rotgers.

Attendees who experience COVID-19 symptoms or test positive onsite must immediately isolate themselves from other attendees. Please report these symptoms to a Fraternity staff member so precautionary protocols may be enacted.

Adjustments to Expectations & Procedures Are Subject to Change

Phi Gamma Delta will monitor all local and CDC guidance regarding COVID-19, and we will adjust our recommendations and requirements accordingly. This means changes may be made to the above policies as we get closer to the Conclave.
