Fiji Academy

The Fiji Leadership Academy, conducted each year in early January, is designed to get new chapter officers off to a strong start by giving them the knowledge and skills they need to lead their chapter. Participants are exposed to the basic elements of chapter operations as well as higher level leadership development.

The next Fiji Academy will be held January 4-6, 2019 in St. Louis, MO at the Union Station Hotel.

Call for Programs

Phi Gamma Delta is seeking program proposals for 75-minutes and 60-minute sessions focused on personal development and chapter operations. The session topics should relate to one of the following:

  • Leadership Development
  • Chapter Operations / Management
  • Diversity & Inclusion
  • Promoting Member Accountability
  • Philanthropy & Community Service
  • Scholarship / Academic Support
  • Positive Public Relations
  • Life After College
  • Fraternal Values

Criteria for Selection

The Fraternity is seeking a wide variety of educational programs. Things to keep in-mind when creating the program:

  • Action Oriented: How does the program give the brothers the tools and resources to apply to their chapter and / or personal life?
  • Interactive: It is important to keep the brothers engaged. Academy is a long program and it is important to connect the session with different learning styles.
  • Focused, but meaningful: Use the time wisely. Do not try to pack to much information in the session that you cannot cover everything, but do not be too focused that the session does not apply to all the men in the room.
